Self-Custody Wallet
Self-Custody Wallet
A native, non-custodial wallet is coming to CoinXchange — built to hold, send, and receive crypto across every chain, and to unlock the full hub without ever giving up control of your keys.
The market today
Total activity across the market — industry figures, not CoinXchange volume.
Why self-custody
Not your keys, not your coins
Full control
You decide when and where your funds move. No withdrawal limits, no approval queues, no unexpected account restrictions.
No intermediary
Transactions go straight from your wallet to the blockchain. No company sits between you and the network.
Multi-chain
Hold assets across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Solana, and dozens of networks — all from a single seed phrase.
DeFi-native
Swaps, perps, prediction markets, and lending all require your own wallet — custody stays with you throughout.
The basics
What self-custody really means
What is a non-custodial wallet?
A non-custodial (self-custody) wallet is one where only you hold the private keys. Unlike exchange accounts or custodial services, no company has access to your funds on your behalf — you are the sole owner and controller of your assets.
Your private key (and the seed phrase it derives from) is the cryptographic proof of ownership. Whoever controls the key controls the funds. In a self-custody wallet, that is always you — and only you.
Your keys, your crypto
When funds sit in a custodial account — at an exchange, a broker, or a centralized app — you hold a promise, not the asset. The platform can freeze withdrawals, go insolvent, or be hacked, and your funds may be at risk.
In a self-custody wallet the asset lives on-chain, tied to your private key. No intermediary can block, reverse, or freeze a transaction you initiate. Your crypto is yours — unconditionally.
What CoinXchange's wallet will offer
Built to work natively across every product in the hub — move from holding to swapping to trading perps to prediction markets in a single interface, without disconnecting or importing keys into a third-party extension.
It will support multiple networks out of the box, show balances and history across chains, and offer straightforward seed-phrase backup alongside more advanced recovery options as the product matures.
